LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY: Developing Leadership Skills, Empowering Youth to Address Social Issues, And Promoting Community Involvement.

In the heart of every young person lies the potential to lead, inspire, and effect meaningful change within their communities. Recognizing this, Kingdom Acts Foundation is thrilled to announce an upcoming event designed to unlock this potential: our Youth Leadership Workshops. With a focus on “Leadership and Advocacy,” this series aims to cultivate leadership skills, empower youth to address social issues, and encourage active community involvement.

EMBRACING LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY

The world we live in today presents myriad challenges, from social injustices to environmental concerns. Addressing these issues requires not just awareness but action—and who better to lead this charge than the vibrant, passionate youth of our communities? Our workshops are crafted to provide young individuals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to step into roles of leadership and advocacy, turning their passion for change into impactful actions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Scheduled for Saturday, 16th March 2024, at 10704 City Parkway, Surrey, BC, V3T 4C7, our event promises an engaging and transformative experience. Participants can look forward to:

• Interactive Workshops: Led by seasoned leaders and advocates, these sessions will cover various aspects of leadership, including public speaking, problem-solving, team building, and strategic planning. Special focus will be given to advocacy—how to champion causes effectively and rally others to your side.
• Empowerment Sessions: Understanding one’s self-worth and potential is crucial. Our empowerment sessions are designed to boost confidence, helping participants recognize their capabilities and the significant impact they can make.
• Community Involvement Opportunities: Leadership is not just about leading; it’s about serving. We will introduce participants to various avenues for community involvement, offering practical ways to apply their newfound skills in real-world scenarios.
